The Board of Trustees are responsible for the day-to-day running of the SRP BF as well as for legal compliance.

This means that they must deliver the charitable object by:

• Ensuring that potential beneficiaries are aware of the fund
• Providing suitable contact arrangements
• Developing and using defined policies and processes to ensure that consistent and just decisions are made about awarding funds
• Fundraising
• Managing the funds

To do this, the Board meet face-to-face infrequently, but correspond and discuss matters remotely very much more frequently.

This comes with costs and the Board’s costs are currently being sponsored by Isognos Limited. This means that no charitable funds are used to cover the costs of managing the fund.
